The San Sophia Overlook just above Telluride near Mountain Village is one of the most stunning little venues in Telluride! In the summer you can access it through Telluride’s free gondola & a walk out to the platform. In the winter it can still be accessed but you get to take a snowcat out to this beautiful wedding deck! San Sophia is only available for ceremonies & cocktail hours, receptions must be held elsewhere.

Keep in mind that this is a totally open outdoor venue, so watch the weather! We get a lot of rain during mid-afternoon during the summer in the San Juan Mountains. A grassy amphitheater surrounds the wedding deck & has a lot of space for guests. At this venue, they can also accommodate elopements & micro weddings in Telluride. This venue is one of the most sought-after venues in Telluride, so it’s best to be flexible with your date & contact them early in the planning process!
